
A New Product
Dean's Dips wanted to highlight their new Sports Bar Favorites dip product line with a celebrity that would resonate with their audience and the product’s theme. The Cameo for Business team helped Dean’s Dips brainstorm the best way to generate buzz around their new product line. Dean’s Dips selected Chipper Jones since he is a well respected, Hall of Fame baseball player that appeals to their target demographic. Chipper also used to play for the Atlanta Braves, who had just won the big game, so it was very timely to use him.
A Memorable Campaign
The campaign was a fun play on the words "Chipper and Dipper." Dean’s Dips was able to utilize the Cameo for Business platform for a quick turnaround on this social media campaign. Working with Cameo for Business allowed them to easily tap into a current and relevant cultural moment.
This partnership also included a fun, promotional sweepstakes that helped to drive follower growth across multiple social media channels. Chipper posted his Business Cameo video and a still image to his Twitter and encouraged fans to follow Dean’s Dips on Twitter or Instagram for a chance to have a 1:1 chat with him using Cameo Calls. Dean’s Dips was able to successfully get people talking about their new dips and engaging in the conversation by leveraging performative Cameo for Business content!
